I’ve been dragging an old steel framed hard tail bike around the forest for a little while now and am looking to by a brand newie. What is the general consensus on hard tail v full suspension?

All you’ll need for the forest and similar terrain is a front suspension bike. Full sus can be nice but will be heavier and loads of travel is not really needed for cross country riding.
