SAVE MTBing in EPPING FOREST go to this meeting!!
The Social Riders are responsible and considerate of other forest users. Ride with Lee and you will see how he always stops for horse riders , takes care around walkers and people with kids or dogs. Not all riders do this and the inconsiderate behaviour of some – as in all things – tarnishes the good behaviour of others.
The first Epping Forest Cycling Forum is meeting on
Thursday 6 March at 7.30 p.m (address below)
It would be a very good thing if some of you went along!!
This is because whilst we cannot be certain of the content, without representation from regular forest users this meeting could well turn out to be:-
“we don’t want people churning up the trails” type of affair.
On the plus side it might be asking “how can we better improve the sustainability of the trails for MTBrs?”
Either way – people like you guys need to be present to show the responsible face of mountain biking and bikers.
To confirm:
This Cycling Forum Meeting meeting is on Thursday 6 March,

If some of you would agree it’s a good thing to have a presence, you need to let them know you’d like to attend the meeting by telephoning The Warren on 0208 532 1010 or emailing: epping.forest@cityoflondon.gov.uk
I wasn’t going to send you anymore messages but this seems very important for the future of MTBing in the forest and I do hope some of you will go:~) Elly x
