Saturday Ride - 2nd Feb 2008
A good ride today with 9 people braving the freezing cold.
Pat, Craig, Fiona, Ann, Sze, Lip, Paul, Dawn & Miles.
The forest was firmer today due to the frozen ground and many of the puddles were ringed with ice but there was still mud, mud, mud and more mud.
We made our way up to High Beach as usual then headed out towards Epping via the Wake Arms on a mixture of bridle paths and singletrack.
A quick lunch stop at The Forest Gate in Epping managed to thaw us out for the journey back to Chingford.
Hopefully, we can get an upload of the ride route posted in the next few days.
There has been quite a bit of discussion about starting the Saturday morning rides at either 9.30 or 10.00am to allow a slightly earlier finish time. If the time does change we will do our best to keep you posted, but if in doubt contact one of the ride guides.
