OUR FIRST XMAS SOCIAL WAS BRILL!!
Dawn was our ‘Dancing Queen’ and flew on the dance floor the minute the music started. Drinks flowed which helped reduce the inhibitions that we all have to a greater or lesser extent (except Dawn!) and in the end everyone danced at one time or another.
Saturday 22nd December is turned over to a BEER RIDE – basically a pub crawl on bikes! There are abut 15+ going that we know of but ALL of you on the rider lists are Welcome!
For those who can’t make the ride itself come see us at the Owl Pub on Lippitts Hill at 2pm and we’ll all have a final Season’s drink there.
Such has been the success of us a Social Group (who do really get on) that we’re planning lots of events for next year.
Starting in January 2008 we’re going to meet for a drink once a month followed by a meal for those who wish to.
Holidays, weekends away and 3 day canal rides, and a canal ride to Greenwich park for a picnic (in the better weather) are all in the offing.
If you’ve got any good ideas – let’s have them!

Xmas Beer Ride and Hill Climb
Just thought I would write a quick message of thanks to all people who both attended the ride or met us at The Owl for making it such an enjoyable day.
Hopefully the effort put in on hills made the booze more enjoyable.
Can’t wait for the summer all dayer!!
