BEER RIDE Sat 22 December 2007
The ride itself was apparently fairly tough as it took in quite a few ups and downs. At least any calories from the booze was burned off by the hills then!
At the Owl Lee had brought his adorable little girl and Craig’s wife and two equestrian daughters were also there to meet us, so it was quite a family occasion.
Good to meet Marnie at last. She’s not managed to come with us on any rides yet (life has a habit of getting in the way and messing up plans for lots of us) but so glad she at least made it so say hello. When she does come along she is going to fit right in:-)
These recent Socials have really cemented the group and as mentioned in the previous Blog we’ll be meeting up for drinks in the New Year.

Just thought I would write a quick message of thanks to all people who both attended the ride or met us at The Owl for making it such an enjoyable day.
Hopefully the effort put in on hills made the booze more enjoyable.
